Teach 1 Lead 1

Leaders:

Ethan Riggs, Barry Gilreath, Ida Adkins.

Mission:

Mentoring students in class and online, teaching universal principles that can be used anywhere. Character-based, leadership curriculum taught within class leads students to a life of purpose and potential. Is faith-based.

Roles needed:

More volunteers to go into the schools with T1L1 and for online sessions as well. 

Support needed:

Volunteers within our schools. Eventual financial support (Sponsoring a student or two) further down the road. Mostly a need for volunteer mentors.

Prayer Team

Leaders:

Jason and Fernanda Warnock

Mission:

We pray, listen and intercede on behalf of others, partnering with Holy Spirit to bring healing, restoration, and deeper connection with Father God. 

Roles needed:

Prayer Team members serve through pre-service intercession, altar prayer, and participation in Community Night of Prayer. During Community Night of Prayer, team members intercede for the gathering, pray for individuals, and may also support the creative prayer

Support needed:

Our greatest need is to grow the team by inviting more people to join us in faithful intercession and prayer

Outreach

Leaders:

Michael and Paige Hill

Mission:

Through our connections with the local community, Acworth, and our local schools, we want to serve the teachers, families, and those in need.

Roles needed:

We need funding to provide services for projects at our local schools. We need willing volunteers to get their hands dirty in our community. We need people to think big outside the walls of the church.

Support needed:

Funding, support, and guidance for our church leadership.

Elders Ministry

Mission:

The elders provide
Gospel and vision protection leadership through Prayer & the Word.

Roles needed:

Trained men who are
equipped and ready to step into the elder’s role.

Support needed:

More men to go through elder
training.

NGCC

Discipleship

Leader:

Kyle Grantham

Mission:

The Christian Life CAN NOT be lived out alone. We have to have one another and care for one another. We are also called to equip to send out others to do the work of ministry. This ministry helps us live out both of those things.

Roles needed:

Administrative

Leader: Coree Rivers (temp.)

Mission:

The LBCC Admin.
Team quietly keeps the church organized, resourced, and running smoothly so pastors
and ministries can focus on people, mission, and spiritual leadership.

Roles needed:

Front desk, HR, Staff
support, Money management, Planning Center Manager.

Support needed:

We are hiring a part-time
admin. person to help lead this team. We need to find this hire.

Communications Team

Mission: 

Our team is here to help the staff communicate events and the needs of the church.

 Support needed:

Setting up the software and tools for communication.

    Benevolence

    Leader:

    Mission:

    We receive benevolent requests from families/individuals living in Kennesaw or Acworth. Each applicant is reviewed using a set written benevolence policy. Our goal is to give a hand up and bring these people into fellowship.

    Roles needed:

    Each request must be reviewed by two people. We need people to help review each request. We also need people to disciple these individuals in various ways. Mostly financial and spiritual.

    Support needed:

    People who can field requests and disciple.

    Pathways consist of the Host Team, Coffee Team, Communion Team, Welcome Desk Team, Sanctuary Team and Parking Lot Team.

    Leading young adults (18-26) in the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus through fellowship, fun, and scripture

    • Teacher for theological teachings (Ex, Apologetics)

    • Hospitality (Food/meals)

    Children's Ministry

    Mission:

    We share the gospel and love of Christ with the kids of Lifebridge, helping them grow in their God-given identity!

    Roles needed:

    – Elementary volunteers & teachers ( for 4&5 year olds)

    – Greeters for check-in

    – Special needs volunteers/ buddies

    Support needed:

    VOLUNTEERS in each area
